Excel, clocking machines and inboxes do not talk to each other: re-entry, errors, hours you cannot rely on for payroll.
Accrual during sick leave, full, reduced or zero rate: a calculation spreadsheets do not handle.
Statutory working time exceeded, rest periods not respected, overtime not counted, no proof of working time.
Re-keying hours and absences into the payroll software, a source of errors and disputes.
No way to know who is working, who is on leave, who is working remotely — least of all across sites.
Requests by email, approximate balances, overlaps and public holidays wrongly counted.
Real-time timestamped clocking and auditable manual entry: reliable proof of working time, meeting the employer's obligation to account for the hours worked.
Configurable hour caps by day, week and month, mandatory breaks and rest periods taken into account to keep within the legal limits (35h, 11h daily rest, weekly rest).
Five automatic calculation modes (daily, double daily, weekly, rest day, public holiday) for a faithful count that can be uplifted, ready for payroll.
Accrual engine aligned with the reform, with three rates (full, reduced, zero) including during absences, balances per period, capped and expiring carry-over, automatic exclusion of public holidays and non-working days.

Arrival on site
One-time location
To substantiate the intervention on site.
Clock-in timestamp
The arrival time, recorded in Ticksy.
No location is recorded.
A tablet fixed by the entrance, with an optional code per employee. Clocking works without a single item of location data.
A single position, compared against the site perimeter.
One poster per site. Clocking evidences presence on the spot, recording nothing between two visits.
Position monitored in the background.
Off by default. Requires both a company setting and the employee's consent.
Position at regular intervals, only while a shift is active.
Off by default. Requires both a company setting and the employee's consent. For the safety and coordination of mobile teams.
A competitor who geolocates without handing you your compliance documents leaves you in breach. The employer remains the data controller: it is for them to inform their employees and to consult their works council.
The four modes above stay off without an explicit company decision. One exception: clocking from the app records a position if the browser has already granted permission, without ever requesting it.
Choose a retention threshold of 30, 60 or 90 days for clock-in positions, and 12, 24 or 48 hours for movement traces. Data past this threshold is erased on the next daily purge run. Erasure of clock-in coordinates is timestamped.
Terminal codes are hashed, never kept in the clear, with lockout after three attempts. The product has no facial recognition feature.
Employee information notice, impact assessment template, register extract and processing annex — pre-filled from how the product actually works.
The employer must account for working time through an objective, reliable and accessible system — articles L3171-2 and D3171-8 of the French code du travail, reinforced by the Court of Justice of the European Union on 14 May 2019. A spreadsheet is none of those: it is rewritten without leaving a trace.
Clock-ins, timesheets, leave, project updates: these actions are logged — who, what, when, from which address. The CSV export stops at 10,000 rows.
An approved period freezes the decision: it cannot be approved twice by mistake. A rejection carries its reason, notified to the employee, and reopening remains possible — but it shows.
The employee signs off on their week. You are no longer defending a count they would discover at the moment of a dispute.
Deleting an entry — even partly — sends it to the archive with its original values, never into thin air. Correcting one updates it directly: it is the new value that counts, not the old one.
Ticksy is a compliance aid: it produces and keeps the proof, it does not replace your legal counsel or your accountant. Our compliance commitments
Hours spent, billable amount, labour cost: the reconciliation happens on its own, by project, by client or by member.
A fixed-fee project is sold for an amount but paid for in hours. Ticksy divides one by the other and gives you the effective hourly rate — the only figure that tells you whether the sale was a good one.
Every project carries a threshold of estimated hours. Its state — within budget, close, exceeded — reads as soon as you open the project, before delivery rather than after.
From the observed pace, Ticksy estimates where the project will land. The next quote is priced on what actually happened.

Ticksy helps apply French working time rules. Its engine calculates paid leave under the April 2024 reform and offers five overtime calculation modes. It accounts for working time limits, rest and public holidays. Timestamped clocking helps document hours worked. Ticksy supports compliance; it does not replace your accountant.
Create your company, configure its rules and invite your teams. An administrator can manually adjust leave balances and historical records during the transition. Setup time depends on the data and rules to prepare.
Each user manages their information and GDPR consents. Sessions can be revoked remotely. No audience measurement tool is installed. Cookies are used only for sessions and display preferences. The Privacy page describes data processing and subprocessors.
Clocking works in a browser for remote and mobile work. Ticksy accounts for time zones and splits hours by day. On-site clocking also offers a tablet kiosk, a QR poster per site and geographic zones. When used, location only helps substantiate an intervention at a site, never count working time.
One account can access several companies. Switch between them with permissions specific to each company.
Timesheets and leave can be exported to PDF, Excel and CSV. Check the data, then send the files to your payroll preparer or accountant.
Ticksy costs €4 excluding VAT per added member per month, with all features included. The account creator is a free administrator with no time limit. Every other added member is paid, including other administrators. Four added members cost €16 excluding VAT per month. No credit card is needed to create your workspace. No commitment; cancel at any time.
Replace your spreadsheets with a single platform to manage your teams' time, from clocking in to the payroll export.
